Managing Director, Pacific Operations

Kellie Parker is the managing director of Rio Tinto Aluminium’s Pacific Operations, comprising four bauxite mines in Queensland and the Northern Territory, two alumina refineries and a power station in Gladstone, and four aluminium smelters in Australia and New Zealand. Her Rio Tinto career began in 2001 where she progressed through a number of safety, operational and leadership roles before joining the Rio Tinto Iron Ore Executive team in 2014, then in 2016 was appointed as Managing Director, Planning Integration and Assets. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Science and a Health and Safety Diploma from Curtin University Western Australia.

Currently the Director of Production (West) with Rusal, Andrey has an extensive background in the alumina industry within Russia, Australia and internationally. He is responsible for five alumina refineries in Italy, Ireland, Jamaica and Australia. Prior to this appointment, he was US RUSAL representative in the QAL Operation Review Group for three years.

QAL General Manager
Mike has over two decades working in the aluminium industry including 18 years at Boyne Smelters Limited in various leadership and technical roles. More recently, Mike was General Manager of Rio Tinto Yarwun, leading the operation through the commissioning of the Yarwun 2 expansion. Mike joined QAL in late 2012 as General Manager and is currently chair of the Rio Tinto Community Fund. Outside the gates Mike is a professional triathlete having competed in World Championships both in Australia and abroad.
