QAL’s Graduate Development
Program is designed to assist graduates who have recently completed
their Undergraduate degree to move from university into a dynamic
working environment. Our Program is part of a long term strategy to
bolster skilled workforce numbers.
Through the support of committed mentors,
graduates participate in a well planned development program
including induction and field placements throughout the plant.
Graduates are given an opportunity to develop an experience base
within operational and project environments and are encouraged to
pursue professional interests. Graduates are put on a ‘tour of duty’
working in various sections for the first year and then concentrate
on specialised project work for their second year.
Each year, we seek interest from graduates from a
range of the following disciplines:
- Chemical and Process Engineering
- Science and Chemistry
- Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering
- Business, Accounting and Logistics
- Information Technology
- Workplace Health and Safety
- Environment
